Laconia, NH: New Hampshire Sheriff's Association President Craig Wiggin announced the date of the association's inaugural 2011 golf tournament to be held at the Pheasant Ridge Country Club in Gilford.

"We are pleased to announce that the Sheriff's Association, with participation of all 10 of New Hampshire's Sheriffs, will be sponsoring its inaugural golf tournament on Friday, August 26^th," said Wiggin. "The Association has a long history of community service and of funding several very generous scholarships and we look forward to do so again."

The cost to play in the tournament is $100 per golfer and the association is currently seeking players and sponsors to benefit their efforts.

"The golf tournament will be open to all members of the public and to candidate's wishing to join us," continued Wiggin. "And if folks can't join us for an 8:30am shotgun start, then we hope they'll consider joining us for a catered lunch immediately following."

Sponsorship opportunities will be available from as little as $50 and all donations are tax deductible as allowed by law for 501 (c) 3 organizations.
